Metro Source Magazine's 20th Anniversary Party

I was invited to Metro Source Magazines 20th Anniversary Party on November 12th at one of the hottest clubs in NYC Greenhouse. The place was amazing, from top to bottom in a green house look. This was one of the best parties that Metro Source has thrown in the past few years. They had everything from body painted girls and guys, magazine poster boys, a great DJ, and of course an Absolute open bar. One of my favorite parts was the photo booth that they had there with props. It was such a great party!

Happy Anniversary !

Today is my 3 year anniversary with my boyfriend. So I am going to make this short and sweet, so that I can enjoy my day with him. Since it is the holiday season I will be posting my wish list along with a holiday gift guide with in the next week or so. So stay tuned for some great holiday gifts. Have a great weekend!

New York Yankees Parade

Being born and raised in New York, I am a huge New York Yankees fan. So this year when they won the world series this year it was a long time coming to make this win #27 for them. I am lucky enough to have been able to go to the parade in the city with my boyfriend. I was my 3rd ticker tape parade for the Yankees and my boyfriends first, so this was definitely an experience for him and I.

A day on the farm

Apple cider donuts, fresh apple cider, and pumpkins are a dime a dozen when its fall. You can pretty much go to any farm, pumpkin patch, or a supper market for that matter for any of these. But when I was growing up, my family always went to Wilkens Farm in Yorktown, NY. To me they always had the best of everything especially the apple cider donuts. My Grandmother took me every year no matter what, and since she has passed I have chosen to go back and continue the tradition. This is my favorite place to visit when the Fall comes.

The Great Jack O Lantern Blaze

So Halloween past a few weeks ago but I wanted to share a special place in upstate New York. I had to work an event for work and this is the place I was sent, I loved it so much I took my uncle's the week later. The Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze in the Historic Hudson Valley- Croton-on-Hudson, NY. This is an amazing event of 5,000+ hand carved pumpkins. This was their 5th year in the Hudson Valley, and it was the best by far. The Blaze runs for about a month. Here are some pictures, If your in the NY area this is a Halloween event you don't want to miss this event next year.

It's our Birthday !!!

Today is our 1 year anniversary ! I am so excited ! As you all know, I love to write about my favorite items.
